Rwanda Muslim leader urges faithful to uphold values during Eid prayers
Sheikh Musa Sindayigaya, the Mufti of Rwanda Friday called on Muslims to maintain good values beyond Ramadan.
He was addressing Muslim faithful during Eid al-Fitr prayers, marking the end of Ramadan at Kigali Pele Stadium.
To Sheikh Sindayigaya, living righteously should go beyond the Ramadan period.
He noted the need to use lessons learnt during fasting and maintain support to one another.
Meanwhile, President Paul Kagame sent best wishes to Muslims in Rwanda and around the world on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
“May this celebration bring peace, hope, and blessings to every home, every country and region, and serve as a reminder of the importance of generosity, unity, and shared humanity,” he said on X.
