Top South Korean varsity awards Kagame honorary doctorate
President Paul Kagame was Wednesday awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Public Administration by Yonsei University in South Korea.
Kagame earlier met with Professor Dong-Sup Yoon and faculty members to discuss furthering partnership and increasing the number of Rwandan students.
In his acceptance speech, Kagame explained the purpose of public policy in light of Rwanda’s experience.
“The purpose of public policy is to make our citizens safe, united, free, creative, and prosperous, more or less in that order,” he said.
