Rwanda, Uganda sign health cooperation agreement
As part of the 12th Joint Permanent Commission (JPC) between Rwanda and Uganda in Kampala, Rwanda’s Minister of Health Sabin Nsanzimana Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with his Ugandan counterpart Jane Ruth Aceng to facilitate cooperation in various health areas.
The agreement covers epidemic preparedness, workforce training and shared priorities, and advancing collaboration on key health priorities.
Also signed were other cooperation agreements in agriculture, education and local governance, according to the ministry of foreign affairs.
