President Kagame receives Ukrainian Foreign Minister
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba who is on a visit to Africa Thursday met with Rwandan President Paul Kagame with whom they discussed the war in Ukraine and ways to support peace initiatives to end this conflict, the presidency said.
Kuleba said he was grateful to “Rwanda for its solidarity with Ukraine.”
I reiterated Ukraine’s strong interest in developing relations with Rwanda based on mutual respect and benefits, he said on Twitter.
Earlier in the day Kuleba met Rwanda’s Foreign Minister and the two discussed President Zelensky’s Peace Formula and food security. He also visited Kigali genocide memorial.
